Officer Langelier and K9 Conrad

Alpy’s handler Oxnard Police Department Officer Nathan Langelier, was hired with OXPD in October 2013, and started patrol in 2014. He has worked in many assignments, including: Patrol, Beat Coordinator (Neighborhood Policing Team), Defensive Tactics Unit, Explorer Advisor, Homeless Liaison Officer, and he's excited about his newest assignment on the K-9 Unit.

K-9 Alpy is a 2 year old Belgian Malinois. He was sponsored by Superior Stage Crew located in Camarillo CA and was named after a favorite uncle of the company’s owner.

K-9 Alpy is currently patrol-certified and certified in narcotics detection. On his time off, he likes rolling around the back yard and bark at his Frenchie brothers.
